Bamboo, silver and shakudo.
19th century. Unsigned. Length 16,5 cm.
A fine bamboo pipe with the metal parts in silver decorated with Mount Fuji on the bowl
part and a falcon and eggplant on the mouth piece. To dream of Mount Fuji, a falcon, and
an eggplant on the first day of the New Year is considered auspicious.
