| Remarks: | Hokuga was a pupil of Hokusai who after 1810 used the name Hotei Gosei and was a prolific painter of bijin in a highly individual, mannered style, he also made several surimono and illustrations for kyoka antologies. His name is frequently confused with the lesser known Karyosai Hokuga.
