Subject: Standing horse.
Signature: Tonshu and artist's seal.
Date: ca. 1850.
Size: Ogi (folding-fan) 180x494 mm.
Technique: Painting, sumi on mica treated paper.
Remarks: Ohara Tonshu was a Shijo style painter son of Ohara Donkei (fl.c.1825) and following the style of Shibata Gito (1780-1819).
Conditions: Very good, laid down on gold-flecked card.
