Series: Meiba bantsuzuki (A series of famous horses). A series of at least five surimono designed for the Nogawa group.
Signature: Hokkei.
Date: 1822 (Horse Year)
Size: Surimono shikishiban, 21,9x19 cm.
Reference: Another surimono from this series is illustrated in Joan B. Mirviss and John T. Carpenter. Jewels of Japanese Printmaking: Surimono of the Bunka-Bunsei Era 1804-1830. Tokyo: Ota Memorial Museum of Art,  2000, no. 37.
