Artist: Ryūryūkyo Shinsai (1764?–1820).
Subject: Two peasant women with Mount Fuji in the background. The woman on the right carries a rabbit-headed child on her shoulders who drops a small bucket into a puddle. The woman's kimono is decorated with the swastika symbol of the Manji group of poets.
Series: Usagi no Tegarabanashi no ichi (The Rabbit's Boastful Exploits: Number one).
Signature: Shinsai ga
Date: 1807. A Rabbit Year
Publisher: Privately published for the Manji poet group.
Size: Koban yoko-e, 13,9x18,8 cm
