Subject: Five kabuki actors. The checkered design in the background was a popular pattern during the late Edo period known as Benkei-jima.
Title: Tōsei sakari Hinode no itsu soro
Signature: Kunichika hitsu and Toshidama seal.
Date: IV/1867. Censor seal aratame for the Hare Year, fourth month.
