Literature: The 100 views of Mount Fuji is the most famous illustrated book by Hokusai and is mentioned in every work about the artist. For a comment on every plate we suggest the reading of Henry D. Smith, Hokusai: One Hundred Views of Mt Fuji, New York 1988, and Matthi Forrer. Eirakuya Toshiro Publisher at Nagoya. Amsterdam 1985, for the different editions.
Remarks: A complete set of three volumes of "One Hundred Views of Fuji", the Hokusai's masterpiece in book illustration. Second edition published by Eirakuya Toshiro before the introduction of the colophon with the Meiji period date.
