Subject: A seated woman in front of a mirror by candlelight. The black lacquer mirror case is decorated with the Toshidama seal, the emblem of the Utagawa school. The print is associated to the poetess Koshikibu-no-naishi.

Signature: ōju Toyokuni ga and Toshidama seal.
