Description: A metal teapot (tetsubin) shaped as an eggplant and a semi transparent cup on a red cloth. 
The eggplant is associated with the New Year First Dream (hatsuyume) and is adapted, as a decorative shape,
in various kind of Japanese objects. Iron tetsubin like the one depicted in this surimono were not uncommon.
Signature: Gosei hitsu, artist’s seals Go-Sei.
