Subject: A woman with a cup in her hand as she prepares to go to bed. Next to her futon is a box with a smoking set. A calendar print, the numbers of the short or long months are shown on the box.
Series: Hyakunin bijo (One hundred beauties)
Signature: Unsigned like all the prints in this series with the exception of a surimono depicting a woman reading a letter of which a version signed Gototei Kunisada ga is known.
Date: ca. 1825
Size: Daisho surimono koban size, 19x13 cm
Medium: Woodblock color print with use of metallic pigments.
