Description: The two volumes are illustrated with a total of one hundred colour plates showing different colours and decorative designs for kimono. The plates are finely printed with saturated colours and metallic pigments. Kamisaka Sekka was the major artist active in the revival of Rimpa style in painting and decorative arts at the beginning of 20th century.
